Shropshire Hedgehogs

Shropshire Hedgehogs is now one of just eleven breeders recommended by the UKAPH registry.

Unfortunately Branston Prickle and Rhubarb will not be producing any further litters due to a lack of time to care for and find the best homes for their hoglets. African Pygmy Hedgehog breeding and ownership is a thoroughly enjoyable hobby and this website will remain here for the benefit of anyone seeking information on their care; alternatively we stay more than happy to hear from those who find themselves still in search of advice.

Our sincere apologies to those who have been on the waiting list or were hoping to find a hoglet through us in the future.

Before you decide to take on an African Pygmy Hedgehog you should always seriously consider your choice in the long run, not just what you want at this moment in time. Some of the questions you should ask yourself are as follows:

When you collect your hedgehog, you will be supplied with his or her Certificate of Registration for the UKAPH Registry, a supply of his or her foods, some used bedding and a lifetime of aftercare.
